Getting There

Driving

Nancarrow Farm is located four miles north of Truro and can be accessed via country lanes from Truro or via the A30. Please note, using the Nancarrow postcode or SatNav is not a reliable way to find Nancarrow. Instead, please use Google Maps.

If you decide to drive to Nancarrow, please note parking is limited, therefore do consider car sharing where possible. Any vehicle left at Nancarrow overnight, must be collected by 10am the following day.

Taxis

Unfortunately, there is no such thing as Uber in Cornwall and we recommend booking a taxi to be picked up from Nancarrow at the end of the night (11:30pm).

A2B Taxis - 01872 272 989

Truro Taxis - 01872 222666

Dress Code

Black Tie

So what is a Black Tie event? Traditionally, men opt for a dinner jacket or tuxedo paired with a bowtie, while women often choose floor-length gowns. However, feel free to get creative and have fun with your attire-dress up in your fanciest and most stylish outfit!

Gifts

Please know that gifts are not expected or required; we are just excited to have you with us on our big day. We are truly grateful for the time you’re taking off work and the effort you’re making to be with us. If you feel inclined to give a gift in addition to joining us, we've provided details to our honeymoon fund below.

Good To Know

Weather

Don't forget to bring something cozy to keep you warm! It's springtime in England, and the Cornish weather can be a bit unpredictable.

One For The Ladies

Our wedding will take place at a stunning old Cornish Farm. For the ladies who wish to wear stilettos, we recommend bringing heel stoppers.

Cornish Bucket List

For the out-of-towners, Cornwall is an incredibly beautiful place with lots to see and do. You can find a comprehensive list of things to do in Cornwall here. However, we'd like to share a bucket list that will give you a taste of our Cornwall.

Enjoy a Pint

Have a Tribute or Doombar at one of our favorite pubs, such as The Three Pilchards in Polperro, The Polgooth Inn in Polgooth, or The Smugglers Den in Cubert.

For those of you who enjoy craft breweries, Verdant and Black Flag Brewery are worth checking out.

Savor a Pasty

Every Cornishman or woman has their preferred spot for the best pasty. We love getting a pasty from Philps in Hayle and taking a short drive to Godrevy to enjoy it with a view.

Explore Fishing Villages

Visit the beautiful fishing villages like Fowey, Looe, Padstow, and especially Polperro, where Kyle grew up.

Beach Activities

Take a walk, swim, or surf at one of the stunning beaches, such as Harlyn, Constantine, Pedn Vounder, Lantic Bay, and Watergate Bay.

Discover Other Gems

Explore The Lost Gardens of Heligan, Bedruthan Steps, The Minack Theatre, Saint Michael's Mount and The Eden Project, where Jess and Kyle first met.
